ANSI C Compiler for DOS. You may optionally add the Power C Library Source (source code for the Power C library functions) and/or the BCD Business Math Library (base 10 arithmetic for more accurate dollars and cents calculations).
Interactive Debugger for use with the Power C Compiler. Allows you to watch your source code execute statement by statement. Multiple windows display your C source code, the names and values of all your variables, the output of your program, and much more. You can set break points to stop at a particular statements and/or watch points to stop when variables reach particular values or fall within a range of values.
Multithreading library. Provides non-preemptive multithreading through a portable library. Allows you to develop better working applications that give users more control. Includes precompiled libraries for the Mix, Borland, and Microsoft DOS C compilers. The optional library source is required for all other C/C++ compilers and platforms. The library may be easily ported to any compiler/platform combination.
Database Creation/Management Library. Includes both C and C++ interfaces plus complete source code. Works with most C and C++ compilers, including the Mix, Borland, Microsoft, Watcom, and GCC compilers. You must choose one of the four supported platforms. If you need support for more than one platform, you may optionally choose additional platforms (only one manual is included).
Scientific/Engineering Library. Provides complex arithmetic, matrix operations, statistics, fast fourier transforms, etc. Includes precompiled libraries for the Mix, Borland, and Microsoft DOS C compilers. The optional library source is required for all other C/C++ compilers and platforms. The library source can easily be ported to any compiler/platform combination. A graphics program called GRAFIX is included with the library for plotting curves stored in data files produced by the library. You may optionally purchase the source code for this DOS program.
User-interface Library for DOS. Provides mouse support, menus, data entry forms, scroll bars, radio buttons, check boxes, etc. Allows you to give your DOS applications a windows-like appearance. Works with the Mix, Borland, Microsoft, and Watcom DOS C compilers. Works with the Rational and Borland DOS extenders. You may optionally purchase the library source code.
Unix Utilities for DOS. Provides DOS with most of the text processing and file management utilities from Unix, including the Bourne Shell. You may optionally purchase the source code for these utilities. The source code is divided into three categories (text processing, file management, and Bourne Shell). The source code may be compiled by the Mix, Borland, and Microsoft DOS C compilers.
Computer based C programming language training. Teaches ANSI C programming through an interactive process. The computer based program presents material for you to read, then tests your understanding of it through a series of questions. If you answer incorrectly, the program automatically takes you back to the relevant material for more study. The program must be operated with DOS or within a DOS window of Win9x/2000/ME/NT/XP etc.
Comprehensive ANSI C training through a structured course presented by an expert programmer/instructor. The course assumes that you have no previous programming experience with the C language. The course includes 6 DVDs or VHS tapes, a workbook, and an examples disk. Approximately 13 hours of video instruction plus 50 hours of practical exercises. Available on your choice of DVD or VHS Tape.
Comprehensive ANSI C++ training through a structured course presented by an expert programmer/instructor. The course assumes that you already have a good understanding of the C language. If not, we suggest that you first take the C Video Course, as the C++ Video Course assumes that you already have a good understanding of the control statements and operators that are common to both C and C++. The course includes 6 DVDs or VHS tapes, a workbook, and an examples disk. Approximately 12 hours of video instruction plus 45 hours of practical exercises. There are two optional C++ videos that focus on the subjects of the Standard Template Library and Exception Handling. These videos are also avaiable on your choice of DVD or VHS Tape and include an examples disk.
Source code formatter for C and C++. Takes a C or C++ source file as input and outputs a reformatted source file according to the rules specified in a predefined template. You can create your own customized templates.
Memory manager for DOS. Allows you to maximize the amount of memory available for your DOS applications. You can make as much as 920K of RAM available for some DOS applications
Boot manager for DOS. Eliminates the need for multiple autoexec.bat and config.sys files for DOS. The boot process displays a menu that allows you to select the desired configuration before the boot process is commenced.
If you purchase the C++ Video Course without the accompanying options, then you may later purchase the options separately here. These videos are available on your choice of DVD or VHS Tape.
If you purchase one of the main products without the accompanying options, then you may later purchase the options separately here. These are disk only products. No manual is included.
